More Father John.

Fleet Foxes. I still find it pretty wild how easily American bands can cross over into non-English speaking countries.

This is Father John Misty, the creation of the guy dancing like a Temptation above, J. Tilman, who you might also know as a former Fleet Foxes drummer.
The sound here isn’t typical of the album, Fear Fun, but the whole thing is still very good.

The Fleet Foxes remain almost the independent rock band I’ve always wanted. Good songwriting, loose drums, varied random instruments in glorious low-fi, but can’t nail down the allusive rises and falls that give this stuff life for me. Their album’s title track, above, is pretty close. Other songs, despite the effort, not so much.
They just hit Austin City Limits, we’ll keep an eye on the archives.
